The long inside corridors are typical for this hospital. There is a great mixture of tribes. The major ethnic groups are Wapogoro, Wabena, Wandamba, and Wangoni (who originally came all the way from South Africa). Minority ethnic groups are Wasukuma and Wamassai. Fortunately, despite this multitude of tribal groups, there are no ethnic conflicts.
