Lugala Lutheran Hospital offers Training opportunities in the following forms:

i)                   Preparatory School for Nursing College Entrance Exams.

The school runs a one-year preparatory programme for boys and girls with form four secondary education (or above), who want to sit for a college of nursing entrance examination. The school was established in 1989. There are opportunities for students (irrespective of whether they attended the preparatory school) to be sponsored by Lugala Lutheran Hospital after obtaining a place at a college of health sciences. In that case they have to come back to work at the hospital for a certain number of years after completion of training.

There is a small fee to be paid by a student to attend the preparation. The fee is adjusted from time to time, as it is necessary.

There are 24 accommodation places for girls coming from outside Malinyi. The accommodation places are offered on application.
