Some of these children are taken care of at Irente School in ELCT - North Eastern Diocese The church ensures the children get their rights through several measures including creating awareness in the congregations which contribute to care of affected children. Advocacy for resources mobilization to cater for the children needs is carried out by ELCT and her units though Directorate and departments under Social Services and Women Work. Advocacy work is done at Local Governments and Central Government and other interested groups. The Christian Social Services Commission has great role in this activity.
