Iambi Hospital

The Iambi Lutheran Hospital is a Health Facility owned and run by the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Tanzania (ELCT) Central Diocese (CD).
The Hospital is registered as a Voluntary (Faith Based Organization-FBO) hospital under hospital regulations ACT NO 6 OF 1977. Currently the Hospital bed capacity is 170 and 70 staff of different cadre.

The hospital serves people from Mkalama District Northern Part of Meatu District in Shinyanga Region. Iambi hospital also linked in supporting and monitoring 12 Dispensaries, Kinampanda, Iambi, Mukulu, Isanzu, Issuna, Merya, Sepuka Kijota, Wembere, Tulya, Tyeme and Kinyangiri.  But for the time being only 10 dispensaries are functioning.
