Daily busses go From Dar es Salam it is 465km and several daily busses go to Ilula, which is located 44km before Iringa on the main Tanzania- Zambia road. The good tarmac road goes also through Mikumi national park, where some wildlife are seen from the road. Then the road goes almost 200km in the Rubeho mountains.

The health center wellcomes visitort and has a small guesthouse with meals for them. For the time beeing there is no telephone in the hospital and the mobile phones do not function in the highland area.
